Mona Moy, DDS, FASEMIP, Cert.Endobiogeny, Cert. Buteyko educator, I.B.D.M., Board Certified Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Mona Moy brings with her a broad spectrum of experiences in dentistry, medicine and in life.

Dr. Moy has earned two Doctorate degrees. In 1987, she became a Dr of Dental Medicine in South Korea, then she moved to the US and in 1995 earned her Advanced Post Doctoral degree in Dentistry from the University of Pacific Arthur Dugoni,  San Francisco.  In addition to that foundational education, she has studied many specializations and modalities, including countless hours of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Integrative Medicine, Orthodontics and TMJ treatment over the last 30 years.

Dr Moy spent many years practicing aesthetic and implant dentistry before becoming interested in Orthodontics and Integrative biologic dentistry, particularly in young children. Dr. Moy wanted to find a more gentle and holistic way to do Orthodontic treatment than she experienced with the current conventional and traditional way.  It started with a simple question, “Why do children have crooked teeth and bad bite. What is the root cause of it and How to treat this more preventive way?”

When Dr Moy became a mother, she realized that her child was also starting to show all the signs and symptoms of orthodontic problems. That simple question she’d asked herself earlier now took her on a journey that she lived herself as a parent, along with her many clients.

Dr Moy truly believes that preventive treatment, as early as possible, and treating root cause and education can achieve a lifetime of a healthy mouth and whole body posture.  The ALF therapy philosophy enabled her to treat herself, and her daughter, now 16, with gorgeous and healthy smiles. She has also successfully treated countless patients with ALF over the last 15 years.

Dr Moy has continued learning everything she can to help her patients to breathe better, stand better while bringing the beautiful smile that everyone deserves.

She is passionate about children's health from in utero until they are adults. With her compassionate and kind nature, Dr Moy loves to treat her patients as if they are her own family members.

Currently Dr Moy is enrolled in a PhD program in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine to better support her patients in Whole person health.

She also teaches her fellow dentists internationally and enjoys traveling, cooking and being in nature with her family as often as possible.
